Petrozzi Wellness Centre takes a holistic approach to wellness that includes a variety of disciplines. Monthly seminars by experts in their fields cover a wide range of subjects. Most recently, PWC hosted space for traditional aboriginal healers from South Australia to provide healing to clients from all over Sydney.

Indigenous healers from around the world are finally being recognised for their powerful healing techniques. Giving them a platform in Sydney helps spread the word about traditional healing modalities that until recently were on the verge of being lost forever.

Petrozzi Wellness Centre recently hosted Debbie and Max, two Traditional Aboriginal Healers, members of the Anangu Ngangkari Tjutaku Aboriginal Corporation (ANTAC). The ANTAC mission statement is short and to the point:

“We are Pitjantjatjara and Yankunytjatjara ngangkari healers living throughout the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankuntjatjara lands and we are helping all our people to be well and happy so they will not feel sad or depressed.”

Make it a point to visit their website and learn about their services, which include:

*    Ngangkari clinics
*    Individual consultations and treatments
*   Cleansing of public buildings, health care facilities, private houses, and outdoor areas
*    Educational workshops
*   Training packages

Leichhardt Psychologist Suzi Petrozzi

Suzi Petrozzi is a good example of someone who stepped outside the box and created a way to help women empower themselves. She realised the potential of the internet and started online seminars to reach a greater audience.

When you visit Suzi’s website, the first thing you’ll notice are these words:

“My passion is empowering women to lead a purposeful and meaningful life, free from stress, grief and trauma.”

That may seem like an ambitious desire, but Suzi has years of experience and knows from both her personal and professional life that it is possible to release old patterns and embark on a new life journey. She sums it up in three short sentences:

“Be present. Be in your power. Be on purpose.”

Being present means being in the present moment rather than living in the past or dwelling on fears or hopes for the future. When you live in the present, you tap into your power and get a clearer view of who you are. When you have that clear view, you can use your strengths to focus on your larger purpose in life.
